Usually shows respect but may need occasional reminders.

Sometimes respectful but requires regular reminders.

Often disrespectful, affecting the classroom environment.

Disrespectful behavior is frequent and disruptive.

Disrespectful behavior is consistent and disruptive

Not Talking/

Disrupting Class

Never talks out of turn or disrupts the class in any way.

Rarely talks out of turn or disrupts class, occasional slip-ups.

Sometimes talks out of turn or disrupts the class.

Often talks or disrupts the class, requiring frequent redirection.

Constant disruptions and failure to remain quiet when required.

Continued and constant disruptions and failure to remain quiet when required.

Following Directions

Follows all directions the first time they are given.

Usually follows directions, but occasionally needs clarification.

Sometimes follows directions but often needs multiple prompts.

Frequently ignores or fails to follow directions, needs frequent reminders.

Rarely follows directions, creating challenges for the class.

Does not follow directions.

 

Scoring Guidelines:

5 Points: Student consistently demonstrates respectful behavior, never disrupts the class, and always follows directions.

4 Points: Student is generally respectful, occasionally talks out of turn, or requires 1 reminder to follow directions.

3 Points: Student needs regular reminders (2-3) to stay respectful, not talk or disrupt, and follow directions.

2 Points: Student is frequently disruptive, does not follow directions, and shows limited respect for others (4 reminders).

1 Point: Student’s behavior is consistently disrespectful, highly disruptive, and does not follow directions despite multiple interventions (5 reminders).

0 Points: Student requires 6 or more reminders to stay respectful, not to talk or disrupt, and follow directions. If a student earns a score of '0' they will be removed to the office for the remainder of the class period.
